When a guide recommends a product, we link to its Amazon page so you can read the full listing and current price. Right now those are plain links — Cubbywise is not enrolled in the Amazon Associates program or any other affiliate network, so we receive no payment whether or not you buy.
If that changes in the future — for example, if we join the Amazon Associates program — we'll update this page to say so plainly, and our recommendations will keep being chosen the same way: on the evidence, never on what pays us.
How we evaluate products
Cubbywise recommendations are research-based, not hands-on lab tests. We don't physically test products ourselves. Instead, for each guide we analyze the evidence that already exists — customer reviews and star-rating patterns, buyer questions and answers, manufacturer specifications, and other published rankings — to identify the products most likely to perform well in a small space. Where reviewers consistently report a problem (or a standout win), we pass that along, and we try to be clear about how much confidence the evidence supports.
Editorial independence
Our recommendations are ours. We choose products based on careful research — analyzing customer reviews, ratings, and rankings — and genuine usefulness for small spaces, never because one pays a higher commission, and never in exchange for payment from a brand. If the evidence says something isn't worth your money, we'll say so or simply leave it off the list.
We are not paid by manufacturers to feature their products, and a brand cannot buy a spot in our guides.
